Dr. Lindgren is a certified RGCC (Research Genetic Cancer Centre, Greece) provider who is proud to offer advanced cancer testing to Green Bay and beyond.Â
Using advanced diagnostics, these tests help detect cancer early, monitor treatment effectiveness, and tailor therapies to the individual’s specific cancer profile. It’s the perfect complement to functional medicine. Instead of hitting the entire body with chemotherapy or other harsh treatments, we can target cancerous cells with accuracy.
If you are at risk for cancer or have a diagnosis and want an alternative form of treatment, contact Lindgren Functional Medicine to start RGCC cancer testing in Green Bay.
RGCC offers several tests, including cancer screening, baseline and follow-up monitoring, and detailed assessments of tumor responsiveness to chemotherapy, targeted drugs, and natural substances. RGCC also provides advanced therapies, such as supportive oligonucleotide therapy (SOT) and dendritic cell therapy, which aim to enhance the body’s immune response to cancer.Â
These tools and treatments are designed to offer a more targeted, effective, and less toxic approach to cancer management, tailored to each patient’s unique genetic and molecular profile.
All testing is done with ‘liquid biopsy’ (fancy speak for blood draw). I don’t have exact pricing yet, but we should have that this week. RGCC’s screening test (Onco d-clare) is far superior to Galleri – it is much more sensitive (~93%) and detects the presence of a malignancy light years earlier. For those with no known history of cancer, the Onco d-clare test is recommended for yearly surveillance.
In addition to screening, RGCC offers several different tests and interventions to guide cancer therapies and monitor progress. For example, the ‘Onconomics’ testing outlines which therapies will be effective for an individual’s cancer. The SOT is an IV treatment designed for individual patients that stops their specific cancer from replicating. The names don’t help explain what they are, so I briefly describe each. Please see the attached document for your reference.
Dr. Lindgren can choose which test to administer based on your unique situation.
These tests are designed to establish a baseline before treatment and track the effectiveness of ongoing cancer therapies. It is suitable for all types of cancer, excluding those affecting the central nervous system. By detecting circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in the blood, it identifies their origin and activity, helping assess the likelihood of cancer recurrence or spread.
This test is used when the origin of cancer is already identified (such as breast, colon, or lung cancer). It helps monitor specific cancer types over time and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment. By detecting circulating tumor cells (CTCs), it offers detailed insights into the cancer’s behavior and the potential for recurrence.
Oncocount: During Treatment
Cancer testing isn’t just for the beginning stages. This test focuses on measuring the number of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in the blood. It is valuable for monitoring the effectiveness of cancer treatment across all types, excluding those that affect the central nervous system.
