Covid-19, the illness caused by the novel virus, SARS-CoV-2, has undisputedly turned the universe completely upside down. First identified in the last months of 2019, the virus has been the center of heated conflict and debate. Since early 2020, much has been learned and disputed about the virus’s origin, the severity of illness it caused, how best to manage the disease, how best to manage the public health response, the vaccine campaign, the long term sequela of infection, the side effects of vaccination, the side effects of the public health response – all resulting in a crime scene of name calling and censorship, weaponized by special interests, resulting in a dramatic shift of power and control.
