Her goal is to provide every child with kid-centered care. Dr. Penny left her traditional practice and founded The Endocrine Co to devote a higher quality of care in a more intimate setting to her patients.<\/span><\/p><p>At The Endocrine Co, every child\u2019s voice is valued, and every patient is treated with compassion during what can be a confusing and frightening time. Board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology, Dr. Penny specializes in treating a variety of conditions, including growth disorders, early and late puberty, and thyroid disorders. She is also a certified diabetes educator and a certified diabetes technology clinician.<\/p><p><span class=\"\">Dr. Penny received her medical degree from Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic where she graduated magna cum laude. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in New York City and performed her pediatric endocrine clinical fellowship and pediatric endocrine research fellowship through the University of Connecticut at Connecticut Children\u2019s Medical Center in Hartford, Conn.<\/span><\/p><p>Before opening her direct patient practice in 2022, Dr. Penny served at
