About Dr. Penny
Dr. Penny has helped improve the quality of life for children in Orlando and throughout Central Florida by bringing their hormones back into balance through evidence-based, tailored care. Board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology, Dr. Penny specializes in treating a variety of conditions, including growth disorders, early and late puberty, and thyroid disorders. She is also a certified diabetes educator and a certified diabetes technology clinician.
Dr. Penny received her medical degree from Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic where she graduated magna cum laude. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in New York City and performed her pediatric endocrine clinical fellowship and pediatric endocrine research fellowship through the University of Connecticut at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, Conn.
Before opening her direct patient practice in 2022, Dr. Penny served at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children’s Endocrinology and Diabetes Center.
