What is it that you value?

It is a new year, a new decade and now that it is February, we are in full swing — no turning back now.  By the second week of February, most people have given up on their goals or resolutions that they created at the beginning of the year.  Why is this number so high? Because people have not placed a high enough value on their goals.

The biggest resolutions that are made are typically about creating better health, which typically stem from a desire for a better quality of life.  You want to have more energy, you want to spend more time with the people you value, your friends and family.  You want to check things off your bucket list. You deserve to have all of your goals met! So you have to understand the value is not in setting the goals or the resolution.  The value is in achieving the results!

The way you achieve results is to create new habits.  I think this article from Inc. Magazine summarizes it so well. Making a resolution or setting a goal is ultimately not sustainable. But creating a new habit changes your life for the better, forever.  Here is the truth — you have the power to change your life when you change your habits.

If you are like most people, you have created a habit of giving up on your resolutions. This is not because you want to but because you don’t know how to achieve success, especially around health.  In our experience, we’ve found the best way to create a new habit around health is to work with a coach or mentor. The reason we have such great success with our practice members is because we focus on helping you create healthy habits that become part of your lifestyle.  This a completely different model than the conventional one. You get the education and support you need to create new habits and create better lasting health.

This is the reason you set the resolutions in the first place.  You deserve to have your goals and resolutions come true for you!  If you have fallen off your goal or resolution to get healthy in 2020, it is not too late.  What you need is a community or mentor to help you get back on the wagon.  Come to one of our upcoming seminars so we can create a new blueprint for your life, together!

To Your One Sweet Life,

Dr. Dae
