The happier, the healthier!

A few years ago, I wrote a series of articles about Dan Buettner’s research on happiness. After recently reading another one of his articles, I want to dust off some of his important themes about happiness and health.  They are completely combined. It’s simple–the mind and body are one collective health unit. In order to impact someone’s ability to heal, we have to look at mental, as well as the physical, components of health.

Hence, this month’s theme is what can we learn about happiness to create a sweet life!

Countries that have thriving citizens are happy to report that they have lower rates of health problems, sick days, stress, sadness and anger.  I know I would love to have less of every one of those things in my life too!

So, I want you to be honest with yourself… are you happy? Are you really happy, as in do you live with joy everyday?  If you are not jumping out of your seat saying YES! Then I want you to think about what would change that?

  • More energy

  • Less pain

  • No more digestive issues

  • Being able to walk of the stairs without being out of breath

  • Better cognitive processing – a clearer mind?

Are there elements of your health that you are neglecting that you need to correct so you can be happier?  If you say yes, it’s time to take an action step to change your health and we are here to help you! Call the office and let us know what you are suffering with or from, so we can help you create a plan to better your health and happiness!

To Your One Sweet Life,

Dr. Dae
