Dr. Daemon Jones, Naturopathic Doctor

Stress is the tension between something you should do and something you want to do.

You’ve decided to do something new. Perhaps it was starting a new job, changing your summer plans accommodate the new family schedule, or something similar and it feels overwhelming and hard.  In these instances, embracing change makes life sweeter.  If you tried to rally against the change, it would just make you feel more stressed and upset.

That tension between deciding between work and something fun is called stress. What is worse is that it is self-posed stress because we are making ourselves choose between one or the other.  When we feel stressed about things that are not life-threatening, the quality of our health can be damaged. We become more susceptible to chronic diseases like insulin resistance, diabetes, heart disease, obesity, metabolic syndrome or high blood pressure.

If you are dealing with any of these diseases, I ask you this… do you want to change the outcome of your health?  Did you know that it is possible to reverse all of these diseases? It is! Come to our next presentation and find out how to do just that!

To Your One Sweet Life,

Dr. Dae
