Our relationships with food can be complex, and she wants you to know how your nutrition plan will impact your health. Let’s review the goals of nutrition coaching.
Develop a Nutrition Plan
Tabitha Zappone will work with you to develop a customized nutrition plan in Pagosa Springs. Each person’s body is different and your nutrition needs will change depending on your goals. In general, expect to include the following foods in your new diet:
- Raw nuts and seeds
- Fish
- Supplements and vitamins
- Probiotics
- More water
- Fruits and vegetables
- Grass-fed meat
- Organic foods
Each plan is tailored to meet your unique nutritional needs while also providing a varied, well-rounded diet. The meals in your plan will be varied so you don’t get tired of eating the same thing over and over again. This is no “rice and chicken breast” diet. Instead, the food you eat will be nutritious, non-toxic, and colorful. Good nutrition is all about nourishing your body so it will thrive, not depriving yourself.
Education
Most people would benefit from learning how food boosts different functions in the body. With Alpine Medical, you will learn about the metabolism, gut, immune system, and more. These days, eating healthy sounds more like a punishment. We think back to having to eat our broccoli as kids. But not anymore!

With nutrition coaching in Pagosa Springs, you’ll receive the one-on-one attention you need to overcome mindset blocks. If necessary, we can talk about your relationship to food. How has food influenced your actions in the past? Does food meet or replace any emotional needs? Health is holistic, which includes your emotions and mindset.
